Same Day Dental Implants
Restore your smile by replacing missing teeth with one of our dental implant procedures
Simply put, dental implants act as an anchor for replacement teeth for patients who are missing their natural teeth. Dental implants provide patients who are missing teeth with the opportunity to regain the confidence and quality of life that comes with a mouthful of pearly whites.
Replacement teeth that are supported by implants are virtually indistinguishable from natural teeth to the regular eye; these teeth are created based on the structure of your other teeth and have the same dependable root and crowns that natural teeth are comprised of. A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth with a medical grade titanium “anchor” to which replacement teeth are attached.
The dental implant is attached to the jaw to secure the tooth and make it just as functional as a normal tooth.

How Dental Implants Work
The dental implant procedure may seem like a complicated surgery, but in reality it usually takes less than an hour for each implant needed. The number of times you’ll have to visit the office before and after the dental implant procedure vary based on each patient’s situation; patients with deteriorated
jawbones or tooth extraction candidates may need to visit the dentist a few times before the implant procedure can be performed. During your initial consultation with DPCS, we will examine your history and current condition and tailor your procedure to make the process as quick and comfortable as possible.
After a patient is comfortable, a small incision is made into the gum tissue, revealing the jawbone. This is where the medical titanium implant will be inserted. At this point, the healing phase begins and patients are sent home to recover with prescriptions for medications that help to fight off infections and ease pain and soreness.
The healing phase is crucial for the proper installation of dental implants. As your mouth heals from the procedure, the medical titanium implant begins to fuse with the bone, reinforcing it and promoting additional bone growth. SDCS provides each patient with at-home care instructions and prescriptions for medications that help to fight off infections and relieve pain and soreness from the procedure.
The amount of time required for your mouth to fully heal varies based on preexisting medical conditions, other procedures performed before the implants were placed, and the health of the jawbone. After mouth is fully healed, an abutment is attached to the implant, which supports the crown. Impressions for the crown are usually made during this time; the crown, or the top part of the tooth responsible for chewing, will be modeled based on the impressions of your other teeth to ensure that your teeth fit together properly when closed and chewing.
